The core busi­ness of our sel­ec­ted com­pa­ny is the bree­ding and pro­ces­sing of trout—a freshwa­ter fish with excel­lent nut­ri­tio­nal values. Thanks to the careful moni­to­ring of all pha­ses of the pro­duc­tion pro­cess, it repres­ents a safe and who­le­so­me product.

From this impres­si­ve farm, which is among the lar­gest in the coun­try, Bianchi regu­lar­ly orders signi­fi­cant quan­ti­ties of red and white trout, as well as sal­mon trout. The foun­ders and their des­cen­dants are pio­neers in Italian trout far­ming. With dedi­ca­ti­on and typi­cal Italian talent, three gene­ra­ti­ons of entre­pre­neurs have deve­lo­ped a pro­duct and crea­ted a new market. 

Currently mana­ged by the third gene­ra­ti­on of the fami­ly, the com­pa­ny was foun­ded in the 1960s when the pater­nal grand­fa­ther deci­ded to begin his acti­vi­ties in the aqua­cul­tu­re sector.

The volu­me of fish pro­du­ced annu­al­ly makes this com­pa­ny one of the most signi­fi­cant trout farms in Italy. Constant moder­nizati­on and the use of the latest tech­no­lo­gies enable the pro­duc­tion of trout of out­stan­ding qua­li­ty. This qua­li­ty is ensu­red through regu­lar inspec­tions cove­ring the enti­re pro­duc­tion process. 

The ope­ra­tors pos­sess six pro­duc­tion sites with a total area of 70 hec­ta­res. Thanks to spe­ci­fic envi­ron­men­tal cha­rac­te­ri­stics, one of the­se farms has recei­ved cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on for orga­nic trout. Two modern faci­li­ties with an area of more than 1,000 m² are available for fish processing. 

The com­pa­ny has imple­men­ted the Global Gap stan­dard gui­de­lines, which focus on fish wel­fa­re and envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion. It holds the „Friends of the Sea“ and ASC cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­ons, and has achie­ved the European IFS (International Food Standard) cer­ti­fi­ca­ti­on for pro­duct pro­ces­sing, with a par­ti­cu­lar empha­sis on food safe­ty and hygiene.
